This site has no forms and no accounts, and it only counts visits. Here is the whole of what it knows about you.

In short

This site collects nothing about you. There is no form to fill in, no account to make, no newsletter and no comment box.

It counts visits and nothing more: how many people opened it each day, with no identifier attached, plus Cloudflare's cookieless count of page views.

The background does keep a small record of itself in your own browser so the ecosystem is not brand new every time you open the page. It holds nothing about a person and it is never sent anywhere. The visit count keeps one more item there, so you and your visit are counted once.

Who this is

Mohammad Tabbara's portfolio. Eleven sites, one section each, and a pixel ecosystem living behind them.

It is a personal page, not a business. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.

What is collected

Nothing. No name, no email address, no message, no location.

There is no contact form on this site by design. Every link out of it goes to a site that is somebody else's, and those pages have their own policies.

What the ecosystem remembers

One item in your browser's local storage, under the name tabbara.eco. It holds the state of the pixel ecosystem so a second visit continues rather than restarts:

  • how many times the page has been opened in this browser,
  • the swarms' energy and their affinities,
  • which of the rarer shapes have already appeared,
  • whether one particular creature has been provoked.

That is the entire record. It is not sent anywhere, it cannot be read by any other site, and clearing your browsing data removes it. The ecosystem simply starts again.

Server logs

The site is static files served from Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare keeps the ordinary request records any web server keeps while serving a page, and those are used to serve the site and to keep it up.

There is no log of my own. The only thing stored about visits is how many people came each day, so there is nothing I could look up about a visit even if I wanted to.

Counting visits, and no advertising

The site keeps its own visit count, as totals for each day: how many people came and how many visits, the pages opened, the site or app a visit came from (its name only, such as Google or Instagram, and the campaign word if the link carried one), the country, the kind of device, the browser, system and language, how long the page stayed on screen, which links were tapped, and how fast the page showed. A visit sends two short messages, one as it starts and one as you leave; the page keeps one item (va) in local storage so you count once a day and a visit once. No cookie is set and no network address or identifier is kept: the scrambled key that counts a browser once a day is deleted two days later. With Do Not Track switched on, nothing is sent.

Cloudflare, which serves the site, also adds its Web Analytics beacon, which is cookieless and counts page views without following anyone to another site. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible and no Fathom.

No Meta pixel, no advertising tag, no session recorder, no heatmap. Nothing on this page is watching what you do on it.

Links that leave

Each card links to a site I built: BSS AUB, Relica, Adriano Jewelry, Zabarotti, Nerve Media, Pavia, Jarrah Scouts, Menuly, Art Jewelry, Lebamap and Pyxole. Following one takes you somewhere with its own policy, and from that moment this page has nothing to do with what happens.

Those links are plain anchors. Nothing from any of those sites loads here, so none of them can see you until you go.

Your rights

There is nothing held about you to see, correct or delete, which is the cleanest version of a rights section anybody can write.

If you would like the local record cleared, clear your browsing data for this site and it is gone. If you would rather it was never written, a private window keeps nothing between sessions.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version number at the foot of every page tells you which build you are reading.
